Rocky Block and Halloween!!

Well needless to say, Caden's first UT v Bama game was a heart stopper! I'm glad that little man was asleep and didn't get to see his Daddy and Uncle Parker about vomit in the bonus room. Talk about an emotional roller coaster! Very tough game, but when it was all said and done, Bama is still undefeated and all is right with the world. To honor the man...the myth....the legend...Terrence Cody, the man that saved the day for the Tide, I dressed up as the big fella for Halloween this year and took "Chunky Monkey" out trick or treating.
Little man's first Halloween... We had a great time trick or treating with Caden's cousins Dawson and Peyton. Little D'man went as a scarecrow and Peyton went as Nemo. They all looked so cute. The only hard part was trying to get 3 little ones to sit still long enough to get a good picture. All in all, it was a great Halloween. Now we start getting ready for Daddy's favorite holiday..Thanksgiving!! God Bless everyone!

Almost 7 months old!

MeMe is home!!!

Roll Tide!!

Going to Meme and Pops in the rain

Watching Bama Play!!

It's hard to believe that our little man is about to be seven months old! He is rolling around all over the place! I was cooking dinner tonight and looked into the living room....he was gone. Can't take your eye off of him for one minute these days. These past few weeks have been such a blessing for us. Meme underwent surgery to remove breast cancer. God was with her the while way and now she can say that she is a breast cancer survivor!!! We are all so overwhelmed at the support that we had from our friends and family. Thank you all so much for your calls, emails, letters, and more importantly your prayers. After the scare a few years ago and now God healing her from breast cancer, I'm starting to believe that mom has a BIG purpose that she hasn't found yet. God has a plan for her that she hasn't taken care of yet. Can't wait till she finds it! God is good all the time!

Busy, Busy!!

Well, Fall is almost here and we're very excited for FOOTBALL! It's been pretty busy at the Woodard house the past few weeks. We went to Alabama and helped surprise Uncle Wayne for his Birthday and had so much fun seeing everyone. Then we went and stayed at Aunt Vanita's River House and got to spend time with lots of family.

Chillin with Pop out by the River

Caden's 2nd cousin, Dalton. They had sooo much fun playing together ; )

Then the next weekend we had a very busy day......Caden was dedicated at Church, It was Pop's Birthday, and Peyton's 1st Birthday.

Starting to sit up really well..... and getting a mouthfull of dirt, lovely!
Caden is all over the place now - rolling around everywhere. He's getting pretty good at sitting up, though he still gets distracted and falls over a lot too ; ) He's grown up so much and seems to be such a big boy now. He's still the happiest, smiliest baby I know and we are loving each and every day with him.

The last couple of weeks have been pretty eventful for us. We celebrated our nephew, Dawson's 2nd birthday. I can not believe he's already 2 years old - wow how time flies!!

Enjoying some time outside with Gramps at the Birthday Party.

Dawson waiting oh so patiently for his cake.

Caden with the birthday boy and his Nana : )

Then we also took Caden to his very first baseball game. He got all dressed up in his baseball gear, including his baseball cap. I am not sure that he ever actually looked out at the field, but he was a very good boy eventhough it was past his bed time. He just sat there and chewed on his favorite toy the whole time. It was great memories for Mommy and Daddy though!

Just like his Daddy : )

Caden also decided to roll over this past week. First he rolled from his back to his tummy then the next week from his tummy to back. He still doesn't move all that often but he can finally do it! Big milestone for the chunky monkey. We are very proud of our little guy. I got to work from home all last week since my boss was out of town and got to spend the whole week with Caden. It was a great time for both of us. We got to go swimming with Nana and cousin Peyton. It was a very hot today and they loved the water!! Then last but not least, Caden got to watch his first football game on tv. The Titans preseason game. He only lasted for about 15 minutes, and it wasn't Alabama, but still it was football. We are very ready for football season to begin.

"Look Mommy I just rolled over onto my tummy-yay!!"

All ready for the football game in my Titans PJs and Titans bib.

On Tuesday we packed up and headed to our friends' farm (about 2 hours away). When we got there it was rainy so we couldn't play much the first day but we had a blast that night in the "Barn" - that thing was way too nice to be a barn!! Caden slept in one of the beds while Mommy and Daddy and Mr. Rob and Miss Deena played shuffleboard and pool (yes we lost as both games). It was a great night. The next morning we were finally able to get out and play. Nick and Mr. Rob went all over the land while Caden and Mommy took a nap. Then after that I got to explore in the Rhino.... it was absolutely beautiful. Then I got to drive a 4 wheeler for the first time - that was a blast! Before we left we all went down to the natural spring creek and sat in the creek and talked while the boys (Garrett and Graham) played around in the water. The water was freezing but Caden didn't seem to mind dipping his feet in. We had such a great time at the farm with the Daniels' Family and we can't wait to go back!!!
